I love mixed metals, whether I’m wearing them or styling them. So mixing them on my bar cart was an easy YES! I am in love with all the copper barware items that are available, so I used some of my favorites and styled up this baby to kick off some (hopefully) sunny weather on its way to the PNW. Below I’ve linked some of my favorite “bar cart styling items” AND a coupon code to the Copper Mug Co!!
Copper Tumblers/Copper Shaker: c/o Copper Mug Co (next on my list is the bucket, and straws!) **Coupon Code>>>> PARTYTILDAWN for 15% off sitewide!!! **
Wine glasses (these are my fave! The long elegant stem is ALL the things!)
Geometric Terrarium (so many possibilities with these! I collect matchboxes, so this is a fun way to store them.)
Bar Cart …I will forever love my bar cart! If you’re not into using it for drinks, it makes a great side table or a fun display for books etc!
Black/White Dishtowel LOVE LOVE LOVE the stripe on these towels, and they not only look great but are amazing quality!
I also love adding fresh flowers or greenery, and of course, pretty bottles of sparkling water, wine and some pretty coasters.
Feeling a little inspired to get your cart set for Spring?? Don’t forget to grab the coupon code above for the Copper Mug Co.!
I received free product for this post, however all opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links and I may receive compensation when links are clicked.
sliCan you even believe 2016 is almost over? This year has flown by!
I will admit, I am kinda happy to see it go! However, there have been some pretty wonderful moments this year. My husband and son both graduated from College! I had the opportunity to spend time in Nebraska with the Oriental Trading Team for a blogger event, which was a dream come true! I attended several local blogger events, and feel like I have really tapped into the local blogger scene here in Seattle, which is awesome! So far all of these moments, I am extrememly grateful. However, this past two months have been hard. Our family lost a favorite Uncle so tragically that our hearts are still so broken, and I have watched some very close friends walk through some very had stuff.
So, in the spirit of fresh starts, new beginnings and all the promise a New Year brings I put together a simple bar cart to welcome in 2017!
My husband and I have always spent NYE with our kids…minus the ONE year that he suprised me with a trip to Victoria BC, that my boys will not let us forget, so whether we’re at home or with friends, it’s always a “family affair”.
I will be adding Sparkling Cider to my cart, so these pretty plastic stemless wine glasses from Chinet are perfect for all the 12 year olds to toast in the New Year!!
Happy New Year 2017!
I hope your New Year is full of hope and promise.
This review is based strictly on my opinion. I was provided these samples free of charge by Oriental Trading to provide my honest review. I was also compensated to blog on the Oriental Trading Blog. One of my favorite accent pieces to style is, the Bar Cart. There are so many fabulous choices from bamboo, brass, to stainless steel…you can’t go wrong with any of them, in my opinion. I’ve linked mine and few at the bottom of this post.
One of the most chic and useful pieces of furniture that you’ll have, plus there are so many fun ways to style them up!
I found several amazingly styled carts on Pinterest to share below!
This next one is styled by my friend Sarah. She recently hosted and styled her OWN wedding! As you can see from the photo below, she has amazing style!
This is a fun one I styled with some new Pineapple tumblers I got from Oriental Trading. How cute are the bamboo straws??
This cart I styled during the Easter holiday for company.
I think a fun framed print thrown in to the mix is really cute. I found these freebies from Pinterest!
Another fun idea, is to use your cart for a coffee/tea/hot cocoa station. This is a fun setup for everyday use or special occasions.
And last, a small bar cart is perfect for a birthday party, baby shower, or even a Super Bowl Party like I styled here.
…or a donut bar!
Do you have a bar cart yet?? If you have been on the fence, I hope I have inspired you to get one and have fun with it!
