Gosanko’s Chocolates is a locally owned handmade chocolate company. Their store is full of amazing chocolates and wine!!! Sold! I fell in love with these chocolate bottles and tulips, and think they would be such a sweet gift for your girlfriends, teachers or just tied on to a bottle of wine for the wine lover Mom!

Happy Spring Friends! Ready or not in your neck of the woods, Spring fashion is in full swing! Over the weekend Lucy and I attended a fun Spring Fashion Event with Macys and my friends at Gossip & Glamour and Styled Seattle.
One of the “perks” of getting older and being an over 40+ blogger, is that people don’t expect you to follow all the trends. Some trends….well they need to stay with the younger girls, and then there are some that can be left to interpretation for anyone which is a lot of fun. The Spring trends for this year are perfect for any age in my opinion and some of my favorites! So let’s get started!
Leather Jacket / the color Blush
One of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe is my black faux leather jacket. I have had mine for 2+ years and it’s a staple (see what I wore to the show..not kidding) It was on the runway again over this gorgeous Blush (IT color for the season) dress. So don’t stick that baby in the back of your closet…keep it front and center and pair it with everything!
The Bomber Jacket / Pattern Mixing
The bomber jacket is another great ageless piece this year. You can find them in solids, satins, florals and lace! Pair it with jeans to skirts they look adorable.
Pattern mixing is one of my favorite trends, and I have been doing for years! As Jennifer Lovin from Jenniferlovin.com shared, the key is to find a common color palette and it naturally binds the patterns together. In the photo below the theme of black and white in the stripe skirt and the floral bomber makes this outfit work perfectly!
The Utility Jacket
Again, another trend that I’ve been wearing non-stop! Olive green is a perfect neutral and works with everything. The utility jacket is light and gives the perfect additional layer to a jeans and tee outfit.
I love this one! I have a few tops in my closet with amazing sleeves, and they are so fun! They look great with a simple skirt, jeans or a great pair of trousers like the ones below.
Florals Florals Florals
Enough said? Dresses, blouses, bomber jackets, shoes…florals are everywhere! I have yet to get anything in this print, but I know there will be something!
So, what do you think? Are these some trends that you can see yourself working into your wardrobe and style??
Spring has sprung, and I could not be happier!
Here in Seattle the rain is still fallng…and realistically, it will be until July! Honestly though, the longer days and mild temps let me know Spring is here.
I love a spring dress or a cute look with heels, but really, most days you will see me in this easy laid back style..my Spring uniform!
I’m a Seattle girl and coffee is my jam..so I love cute coffee tees. This green lightweight jacket is probably the most worn item in my closet. It’s thin enough to wear all day for a little extra arm coverage, and as far as I’m concerned this color green is a neutral..it goes with everything!! Jeans are my forever favorite. Whether they are boyfriend, skinny or flare, I love to style a great pair! (See what I did there??) My love of sneakers will never die, and I am loving the trend of colored sneaks…they really can take a simple outfit and add a pop of fun!
When it comes to accessorizing, I like to keep it pretty simple. I am a watch girl and this gorgeous zebrawood and turquoise watch from Jord is perfect for this look! I love the warmth of the zebrawood and the gorgeous turquoise face gives an unexpected pop of color! It really is such a unique watch and gets so many compliments.

So, first off, athleisure…yes, I hated that term when it first came out, but let’s be honest, I am all about this look! Its comfy, perfect for hanging at home or running errands and looking like you put a little effort into your leggings and sneaks! And, really…how cute are these bright babies??
I am a huge Anglophile, so when I saw this tee I knew I had to have it! It is super soft and a great fit! You can find it at Shop Everyly Co .
This outfit is a mix of my two most beloved patterns…plaid and leo! You can never go wrong adding leopard to any outfit…consider it a neutral! This coat is the BEST hand-me-down I have ever received, it has easily become my winter staple!
Told you, winter staple that coat! My beloved booties recently got a hole in them, so I need to replace these stat as I wear them at least 3x a week they are that versatile! This cute sweater was a Jcrew find and I love the purple/navy combo!
This here is really just a mix of all things I love…a cute sweater, a plaid scarf and my fave leopard sneaks that are years old from Target. I have linked some similar pairs for ya though! This bag, found it at Target and loved the shape…it has a very Kate Spadesque feel don’t ya think?
My beloved moto jacket. I bought this baby a couple of years ago for under 40 bucks, and have never looked back! I probable wear this a couple of times a week as well! I am a huge sneaker fan and these nikes cover all the bases…spots, neutral and comfort.
Alright friends…think I better make this fam of mine some dinner! Thanks fo sticking through this post! Mwwwaahhh!!
