What’s your New Year’s Eve plans? Since we have had kids, our NYE celebrations always include our children…because there will be many more to celebrate once they are all grown and on their own! We seemed to alternate from spending the evening with friends or a cozy night in.
This year our NYE will consist of going out for a movie and dinner, and home before midnight to toast in the New Year, and honestly I could not be more excited!
I set a fun casual table with some of the cutest paper goods from Design Design, Inc. I love LOVE the mix of stripes and polka dots with the touch of metallic gold!
I love mixing high and low’s in my decor, and in this case, the paper plates and napkins mixed with crystal and candlelight.
Whatever your plans are this year, I wish you a 2018 full of good health and many wonderful memories!
*I was provided product free of charge, but as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.”
Are you hosting Easter this year?
Need a cute napkin ideas for the table? I did these for my table(s) last year, and they were so darn cute, I’m doing them again! This is all over Pinterest, but I thought I’d share it with you here! Now, this is a little easier with paper napkins, but I’m a white cloth napkin girl when it comes to holiday tables…so it’s a little trickier folding these, but it works!
Fold your napkin in half and then half again..so thirds!
Take one end and bring it straight down the center. Do that again on the other side.
Take your corner and fold it back up to the center.
Repeat on the other side.
Take your two outer points and fold them in to the center…you’ll see that you are creating the ears here.
Flip your whole napkin over….
Fold up the point to create the tail.
Turn the napkin over and tuck one corner into the other. This is where it gets a little tricky with the cloth napkin because it’s thicker, but just keep adjusting, and it will hold.
Cute huh?? Even if you add nothing else to your place settings, these make your table look adorable!
