It seems like every time my family has ESPN on, there is a commercial for Dave & Busters! As my boys have gotten into their early 20’s, they are always looking for a fun place to meet up with friends for great food, watch the Seahawks, and have fun! So, needles to say, my family is so excited for Dave & Busters to open their first Washington location right here in our hometown of Auburn WA.
“This 43,000+ sq. ft. location at The Outlet Collection will offer chef-crafted food like the Hawg-A-Saurus Loaded Cheese Fries and BBBacon Burger (featuring three types of bacon!), innovative cocktails like Glow Kones, adult snow cones illuminated by glowing cubes, as well as hundreds of the latest arcade games. The new location will also feature a D&B Sports Bar, making it the ideal sports viewing destination for residents to cheer on the Hawks, Sounders and more with massive HD TVs and “better than the stadium” seating.”
So get ready, because in early December, western Washington has new destination for food, fun and games. Stay tuned for more details as the date gets closer! Hope to see you there!

How can tomorrow already be Halloween? I honestly cannot believe how quickly this year has flown by! This month has done that as well, which is why I am just now getting this Spooky Floral tablescape up for you so late! I know you will not be able to get these particular items in time for tomorrow’s festivities, but the good news is…all of the paper goods and the fabulous gold skull centerpiece are now on sale…so grab them for next year!!
I am a huge fan of layering in my tablescapes, so using a tablecloth, Halloween netting and a table runner gave me the look I was going for. Another place I love to “layer up” is with my plates. So here I used a gold plate charger, a white dinner plate from my cupboard and the Spooky Floral dinner plate. By doing this it really dresses up the paper plate!
(Spooky Floral Dinnerware, gold plate chargers, gold flatware, table runner)
This gold skull centerpiece is one of my new favorite pieces. It is much larger that you realize and there are so many things you could do with him. I chose to run to my local grocery store and picked up flowers to coordinate, popped a vase in the center and done! The result is stunning!
I hope my last-minute Halloween tablescape has inspired you! Whether you’re using what you already have, or running to your local grocery store and picking up some paper plates, napkins and a bunch of flowers…you can easily create something fun for Halloween night!
